What’s next, at a glance: Next Up is a local transit dashboard designed to answer one simple question: what transportation is coming next?

When the dashboard loads on a TV, tablet, phone, or laptop, it immediately displays the next subway train, the next bus, the next NYC ferry departure, and the current temperature.

Designed for ambient use: Next Up is built to run locally, often on a Raspberry Pi, so it loads instantly and stays distraction free. There are no accounts, no alerts, and no unnecessary interaction.

The experience is intentionally minimal. It is meant to live quietly in the background, offering useful information without demanding attention.

Future direction: My long-term goal is to merge Next Up with my NoirMap concept, creating a single local-first system for mobility, mapping, and neighborhood awareness.
